Clallam Branch AAUW Scholarship, $1,000. One award.
Criteria: Peninsula College graduate transferring to a four-year
program and demonstrated academic achievement, school and
community contributions.
Clallam AAUW Branch Scholarship, $1,000. Two awards.
Criteria: Sequim High School girl and Port Angeles High School
girl accepted at four-year college or university.
Whidbey
Island Branch
Whidbey Island AAUW Scholarship, $1,000. Three awards.
Criteria: Female graduating from a Whidbey Island high schools. One award for each high school on Whidbey Island. An all island scholarship in memory of Susan Blank, to be awarded to a female art student planning to go to college or art school. Information on this $1,000 scholarship can be obtained from the high school art teachers.
Port Townsend
Branch
Port Townsend AAUW Branch Elmira K. Beyer Scholarship,
full tuition up to $5,000.
Criteria: Resident of Jefferson County for at least two years,
completed one year of college, is returning to college.
Port Townsend AAUW Branch Scholarship, $500. 3 Available.
Criteria: GPA 3.25 or better, financial need, strong record
of activities, letters of recommendation, enrolling college
or university ultimately to pursue bachelor's degree.
Anacortes
Branch
Anacortes AAUW Branch Scholarship, $1,000. One award.
Criteria: Odd years: Anacortes high school graduate in junior
or senior year at college. Even years: Woman returning
to school and/or head of household.
Mount Vernon
Branch
Mount Vernon AAUW Branch Scholarship, $300-$500.
One award.
Criteria: Local community college student continuing to a
four-year college or university.
Everett Branch
The Everett Branch offers scholarships to Everett Community College women planning to pursue bachelor's degrees. In 2007 we awarded one scholarship of $500; in 2008 we will award 2 $500 scholarships, in conjunction with an Everett business Zoal Precision Machinery. Stanwood-Camano
Island Branch
Two $2750 scholarships
You must be a current resident of the Arlington, Stanwood, or Camano Island area OR be a graduate of Lakewood, Arlington, Stanwood, or Lincoln Hill High Schools.
You must have completed at least two years of study at an accredited college or university by June 2007 and have verifiable plans to continue upper-division or graduate work at an accredited four-year college or university in the fall of 2007.
All students who meet these requirements are encouraged to apply.
