Local Scholarships

Awarded to a woman resuming her education in a post-secondary program working towards completion of a degree.

Community grant awarded to a local agency to support or expand programs serving women and girls in accord with AAUW’s mission of advocacy and equity.

Public Policy
 
Annual public policy meeting or Local Candidates'/Issues Forum and Question/Answer Session.

Participates in State Lobby Day in Olympia (January)

Fundraising
 

Past fundraising events have included:

      “Mini” events for small numbers of people centered around a theme; such as an Ikebana class, Tapas party, fashion show, apres ski party

       Holiday Silent Auction

       Entertainment Coupon Book Sales

       Raffles for specific prizes, donated by our members or the community, with funds going to one of our designated programs

       Garage Sale
