MEMBER ACTIVITIES

  • Monthly Branch General Meetings, September through May,
    usually the second Saturday morning at The Quarry at Columbia Tech Center.
  • Books and Bites Interest Group
    meets the third Thursday of the month at 11:30 to share opinions of recently read books over lunch at the Cameo Café in Vancouver.
  • Bridge Interest Group
    meets the fourth Friday of the month from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Shorewood.  Everyone is asked to bring a sack lunch.  Gatherings usually end around 3:00pm. Current or new members, experienced or beginning bridge players are always welcomed.
  • Crafts and Conversation Interest Group
    meets the second Monday of the month at 10:30 to share a knitting or other craft project at a member's home.  Members bring a sack lunch.  Hostess provides drinks and dessert.
  • Evening Gourmet Interest Group
    meets the first Saturday of Oct., Dec., Feb., Apr., and June at 7:00pm at member’s homes to enjoy good food and pleasant company at shared gourmet dinners.
  • First Thursday Book Club Interest Group
    meets the first Thursday of the month at 2:00pm at a member’s home to discuss an assigned book.
  • Movie Night Interest Group
    meets the second Tuesday of each month at 6:00 pm  at a member’s home to share and discuss favorite movies.
  • Mah Jong Interest Group
    meets the third Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm in a member’s home to learn and play Mah Jong. Every level of player welcome.
  • Out & About Interest Group
    local trips to museums, exhibits, places of interest.  Days and time depend on events.
  • Global Concerns Interest Group ( formerly World Affairs/Social Justice )
    meets the fourth Tuesday of the month from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at the Clark County Genealogical Society Library Annex. This long-standing and popular study group encompasses current topics of broad significance.
