Activities

Advocating is one of the important ways that we in AAUW-WA support our mission of promoting equity for women and girls.  One of our themes is "Advocacy - Every Place, Every Time."  In order to advance our advocacy program, we engage in a number of activities, including an annual Lobby Day where we have the opportunity to meet with our state legislators to discuss issues of importance to AAUW, many local forums that our branches sponsor or participate in, and such national events such as Equal Pay Day and Get Out the Vote campaigns.
