Welcome
Welcome to the website for AAUW of Washington State. At AAUW we recently celebrated our 125th anniversary. Much has changed since 1881, but our mission remains the same: to advance equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, and research.
If you are not already a member of AAUW-WA, we hope that you will consider joining one of our 37 branches across the state. As a member, you will enjoy participation in all activities at the branch, state, and national levels, including interest groups, action groups, meetings, and conventions. You will have the opportunity to be part of a powerful network of members who value education and equal rights and who believe in taking action. Wherever you go, you will find a community of friends who share your values.
AAUW's strength comes from our local branches. Use the "How Can I Join" button on this page to find a branch near you, or Contact Us and we will be happy to answer any questions you have.
"By joining AAUW, you belong to a community that breaks through educational and economic barriers so that all women have a fair chance."
